Dear Madam President

We have been informed by our colleagues and sister union organized in the General Motors’ plant in Sao Jose dos Campos over numerous retrenchments they had to endure in order for the company to make huge profits over the lives of ordinary workers. We do not understand nor accept the logic of prioritizing profits over people. We are very saddened by the plight of our fellow workers and we will urge the government to do everything possible to stop the company on its murderous campaign.
