City of Sindelfingen refuses to allow the use of schoolrooms for the 1st International Automotive Workers Conference in 2015

On Thursday, 21 November 2013, the head of the school board and the school administration declared in talks with the attending four members of the preparatory group of the 1st International Automotive Workers Conference (1st IAAC) that public schoolrooms in Sindelfingen could not be given for „unsuited purposes“ during school vacations. All 17 schools in Sindelfingen should be kept free for reconstruction work. We regard this to be a pretext for the denial. Even according to municipal code §10 „citizens ... have the right to use ... public facilities of the municipality.“
